Earl Chuck is a South Korean beatmaker based in Pasadena. Before moving to the United States to pursue his MBA, he worked in investment banking and fund management in Korea. Now working in accounting, he continues to dedicate his spare time to creating the sample-based hip-hop music he fell in love with as a teenager. Influenced by artists such as Pete Rock, J Dilla, and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Earl Chuck draws inspiration from cinematic soundscapes. He is particularly looking forward to Quentin’s upcoming film The Way You Dance, and hopes to see more of his music featured in films in the future.
