Seba Chang (stylized: seba chang) is a queer, neurodivergent, Korean-Indian-American artist, producer and storyteller based in San Francisco Chinatown. Their self-produced debut album ‘spacecarpet’ is a multilingual, genre-warping coming of age story that explores identity, loneliness, and what it means to say goodbye to home.
Their track ‘urkel’ is a groovy, genre-blending hip hop song about growing up as a wallflower kid who comes alive alive on the dance floor. It transforms from a slow, funky rise into a cathartic, synth-laced jam packed with funk, alt-R&B, and 80s new wave influences—the party music chang grew up hearing in New Jersey.
Wherever you are, seba hopes your inner kid is dancing too.
